BISMARCK – Today, Julie Fedorchak announced she has received an endorsement from a member of the Republican’s House Leadership team, Conference Chairwoman, Elise Stefanik.

Fedorchak said the endorsement reflects a powerful vote of confidence in Fedorchak’s leadership, vision, and commitment to representing the people of North Dakota’s at large congressional district.

The House Republican Conference Chair is a part of the Republican House leadership team in Congress working closely with the Speaker of the House, the House Majority Leader, and the House Majority Whip to steer the Republican agenda in Washington. The Conference Chair is elected by her Republican congressional colleagues.

A fourth-generation North Dakotan, Fedorchak has deep roots in the state. The youngest of eight kids, she was born in Williston, raised in Fargo, graduated from high school in Bismarck, and completed college at UND in Grand Forks. During Julie’s time on the Public Service Commission, she has lowered utility rates, fought back against the Obama and Biden Administration’s attacks on coal, and cut red tape at the commission supporting North Dakota energy production.
